1. What is Keratin Bliss®?
Keratin Bliss® Brazilian Intelligent Brush is an innovative Keratin hair kit that restores health to damaged hair, reducing volume and eliminating frizz and making the hair manageable. It will also straighten the hair and will leave it with a silky and shiny look.
2. How long will the Keratin Bliss® Brazilian Intelligent Brush effect last?
The average time is about 90 days, depending on the condition of the hair, on the way the frizzy hair treatment is done, on the maintenance process after the treatment, and on the number of washes. For longer duration, we strongly recommend the regular use of our Keratin Bliss ® Maintenance Kit.
3. What types of hair can receive the Keratin Bliss ® Brazilian Intelligent Brush?
Any type of hair, regardless of its condition and whether it has been colored, chemically treated, permed or straightened. In fact, the treatment effect lasts longer in previously chemically treated hair than in virgin hair.
4. How often should the Keratin Bliss ® Brazilian Intelligent Brush be done?
Normally every 3 or 4 months, as needed. Depending on the type of hair, it can be done monthly, or even after 15 days if required. However, the minimum interval should be at least 30 days.
5. What kind of care should the client take following the Keratin treatment shampoo?
During the first three or four days following the Keratin treatment the client should not tie the hair in a ponytail or otherwise. The hair should remain loose during this period. Also, swimming in the ocean or swimming pool should also be avoided. The use of gels, spray, mousse and other chemical products should also be avoided during the first few days.
6. Can the hair be dyed after the treatment?
Yes, but we recommend to wait at least 2 to 3 weeks after the treatment. Preferably, the Keratin treatment should be done after the hair has been dyed.
7. How much Keratin Bliss ® chocolate or Grape Extract Keratin Complex is necessary to do a treatment?
About 2 to 3 ounces, depending on the quantity and condition of the hair being treated.
8. Are there dangers in using the Keratin Bliss® treatment?
No, there are not. Risks associated with the Brazilian Keratin Treatment are due to excessive amounts of formaldehyde, in many cases added by unconcerned hairdressers and not by the manufacturer.
9.What is formaldehyde?
Formaldehyde is a colorless, pungent-smelling gas that occurs naturally in the environment. It is produced in small amounts by most living organisms as part of normal metabolic processes. Formaldehyde is used in pressed-wood products, such as particleboard, plywood, and fiberboard; glues and adhesives; permanent-press fabrics; paper product coatings; and certain insulation materials. In addition, formaldehyde is commonly used as an industrial fungicide, germicide, and disinfectant, and as a preservative in mortuaries and medical laboratories.
